As a friend of Anne I was always given a warm welcome by both Eileen and Reg and treated as one of the family. One very happy memory is of travelling in the car with Eileen, the proud mother, to the wedding of her daughter Anne. Not to be forgotten is that Eileen baked a very, very good cake.
